checksum.so regen doesn't work
So, per the solution on #491, I have this in my debian/rules file.
override_dh_strip: dh_strip --dbg-package=strongswan-dbg # Regenerate checksum.so after dh_strip for integrity checking. make -C src/checksum clean install DESTDIR=$(CURDIR)/debian/tmp/
However, looking at the attached build log file, this doesn't seem to have an affect - both checksum runs have the same numbers.

make install is called with
dh_install is executed and this seems to copy the built files for each package to
I guess these are then the directories
dh_strip operates on.
So unless you can change the order (i.e. let
dh_strip run before
dh_install - perhaps via
--after/--before/--remaining/--until options? - so it operates on the original build directory, if it is at all able to do so) this won't work. So you probably have to either disable the integrity checks (not sure if they add that much value, as something similar could be achieved via e.g.
debsums), or don't call
dh_strip at all.
